Something is eating our tomatoes at night, but apparently if there are no tomatoes in the bowl, bananas will fill the craving.

Easter has the best candy of any holiday, hand down. You split the poor bunny in half to eat your Kit-Kat!

Stitches West 2012!!!!! Lindsey came to be my partner in crime and it was an awesome reunion. Best booth was for sure Ysolda and her adorable lights, complete with samples to try on and a photo booth!

 And Squishy made some friends!

Terrible photo, but I ended up at a mall food court for lunch and was stuck by how giant it was and trying to remember the last time I was actually at a mall food court.

Yay! Brenna and Eric made it to NYC! First night out at a cool pool hall in Queens.

Celebrated Masha's 30th by starting with drinks at a roof top bar with a great view of the Empire State Building...and a Dick Tracy wannabe in the corner smoking his pipe :)

The beautiful tulips Adam got me for Valentine's day just keep getting more lovely as they open and drape down.

Day 71

Med school prom - what a great time with good friends we're starting to get sad about moving so far away from. Plus we got to dress up pretty :)

Happy Valentine's Day! Bring on the food porn: lots of photos of the glorious meal we cooked to celebrate this happy, lovey-dovey day.

Started with happy hour oysters...

Followed by Orange Basil Gin cocktails (with our buddies, Hugs and Squoze)...

Then a citrus green apple frisee salad with warm goat cheese and brie...

Our main course of pepper-crusted filet with a red wine sauce, accompanied by creamed spinach and roasted tomatoes...

And finished off with pink champagne and chocolate mousse with raspberries.

Spent some nice time with my friend Claire on her day off: knitting and coffee at a great little place in Brooklyn followed by shopping at crazy Atlantic Terminal. Thanks for a great date Claire!

What better to do on a Sunday than start a new knitting project? Finally starting the project I bought this book for, the Olive Heather Skirt by Veronik Avery.

A fun dinner out with good friends, followed by a stop at a bar I'll always think of as my dad's favorite in NYC.

It finally snowed again today! But guess what doesn't photography well: lightly falling snow that isn't sticking to the ground. Bummer. Instead I have this adorable little guy to share with you...

We took a break from our fun puzzle evening to eat our yummy steak salad dinner, but in a New York apartment the puzzle table still has to be the dinner table - we made it work out :)

Hanging out at the frog pond - I had some knit projects (finished and worn a couple times even!) that just weren't up to par so it was time to frog.

Rip-it, rip-it, and put that yarn to better use.

Super Bowl Sunday! But the main event: breaking our friend's cat. He wasn't too happy about it though.

And finally new art on the subway (they rotate 2 new posters every so often) and I'm loving the new one. Cute anyway, but there's a girl knitting in it! Win!

Friday fun day! Met with lots of good friends for end of the week festivities, and tried to capture it with this photo of the candles at Soda Bar. Have a great weekend!

Date night! Groupon special: great dinner at Dizzy's then a movie (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy) with popcorn and drinks. Yay for Wednesday date night!
